This Claro Walnut Burl Slice is packed full of character, colour, and a personality all its own! 

Sanded on both sides it measures approximately 7/8" thick, there might be some small areas that the sander missed. The other dimensions are best depicted with the markings seen in the photos. Through a combination of extented air drying and then finishing with kiln drying optimal moisture content has been achieved.

These types of pieces can be a bit fragile so we recommend hand sanding or perhaps using an orbital palm sander (gently).

Claro Walnut (Juglans hindsii) is native to the Western United States. Another common name is California Black Walnut.
